Foster Heroes

This year we decided to do the service challenge. We had to identefy a community need and we could, and did, find a community partner. We decided to do something with Dallas Pets Alive, a organization that finds foster homes for homeless dogs. We met with a worker from Dallas Pets Alive, and she said that their biggest need was money for medical care and for a building. We decided to do an obstacle course in front of our school. The course consisted of a doggie crawl, where there are stakes on either side of you, and then you crawl under ropes that are tied to the stakes. There was also weighted buckets, hurdles, an egg and spoon race, a sack race, and a baggo toss.
